Carolyn Schafer returned home on Wednesday, January 15, following rehabilitative care for an infection in her lower left leg.
Ruth Berndt will not be pursuing additional treatments for her pancreatic cancer. She values your prayers for peace and comfort as she receives palliative hospice care at home.
Emma Brouwer was able to have her chemo port removed two months earlier than anticipated. She will begin a six-month regimen of oral chemo on Thursday, December 26. Please pray for a tolerance of the medication--as well as an increase in healing and strength.
Kathie Nagelkirk underwent outpatient leg surgery on Monday, December 23, to address injuries sustained in an earlier automobile accident. She will be non-weight bearing for 12-14 weeks

Ann Whitmyer returned home on Tuesday, November 26, following a hospitalization for bilateral pneumonia and Covid. She will begin in-home PT/rehab the week of December 2.
Jackie VanHouten recently completed a CT scan, ultrasound, and lymph node biopsy to determine the potential recurrence of Merkel Cell Carcinoma. Please pray for prompt and clear answers--as well as a course of care and treatment.
Pat Glasser returned home on Friday, November 15, following back surgery on Tuesday, November 12. She began home-based therapy on Monday, November 18.

Dennis Grysen was released from Zeeland Community Hospital following treatment for a slow heart rate. He is currently wearing a heart monitor to determine if additional care is required.

Sandy Riksen returned home on Saturday, September 28, following a week of care at Corewell Butterworth necessitated by a fall that caused two pelvic fractures and a bone chip of the right hip.

Judy Huitema’s MRI from July 2024 revealed that there is no sign of Intracranial Metastatic Disease. Please pray that she remains in remission.

Faith Smit was expected to return home on Saturday, March 9, following reconstructive hip surgery on March 6 at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. The surgery was less extensive than anticipated—and she is already full-weight bearing. Praise the Lord!
