Laurie Wabeke’s post-surgical consultation on Monday, May 18, confirmed that she does not need additional surgery for the cancer.  Praise the Lord!  Please pray for clarity as she consults with doctors on May 28 and 29 to determine the scope and sequence of upcoming radiation treatments.

Randy VanDyke

Randy VanDyke's postponed shoulder replacement took place on Monday, May 18.  He returned home on Tuesday, May 19, to continue his recovery.

Sara Hower

Sara Hower was hospitalized at Corewell Butterworth with severe abdominal pain on Saturday, May 16.  Doctors performed surgery to remove a problematic cyst.  Please pray for complete healing as she recovers at home.

Jodi VanWienen

Jodi VanWienen underwent a lumbar MRI on Saturday, May 9.  Please pray for encouraging results within one week.

Faith Smit

Faith Smit’s surgeries for the left ulnar nerve and left carpal tunnel have been postponed a second time on account of an infection in the left foot following an earlier surgery.  Please pray for prompt healing in the foot as well as the ability to reschedule the additional surgeries.

Brad Karsten

Brad Karsten is recovering at home following a hospitalization for complications with breathing and oxygen absorption.

Stephanie Riksen

Stephanie Riksen underwent an outpatient myomectomy on Wednesday, May 6.  Please pray for complete healing as she anticipates a 3-4 week recovery.

Shirley VanDis

Shirley VanDis underwent outpatient surgery on Tuesday, April 28, at Corewell Butterworth Hospital, following a recurrence of cancer.  The pathology report revealed that no additional treatment is necessary at this time. Praise the Lord!

A Wayward Son

A wayward son has abandoned his faith, the Gospel, and Christ—actively living his life in opposition to the Lord.  Please pray for the Holy Spirit to convict his heart of his need for Jesus—surrendering his life in full to the shed blood of Christ.

Judy Mejeur

Judy Mejeur underwent a spinal nerve ablation on Thursday, April 30, at Holland Hospital.

Mary Burgess

Mary Burgess’ latest CT scan confirmed that her tumors are continuing to shrink. Praise the Lord!

Wendy King

Wendy King was emergently admitted to U of M Health West/Metro Hospital.  She underwent surgery on Monday, May 4, to remove fluid near her knee that was complicating an infection associated with an earlier injury.  She returned home on Wednesday, May 6, with in-home care to continue treating the infection with antibiotics.

Mike Roosien

Mike Roosien returned home on Tuesday, April 21, following surgery to address complications associated with his earlier diagnosis of prostate cancer.  Unfortunately, he was readmitted later that same day to U of M Health West/Metro Health on account of blood clots. He returned home on Thursday, April 23, to continue his recovery.

Gerene Scholten

Gerene Scholten became a resident of Maplewood at American House in Jenison on Thursday, April 2.

Deb Karsten

Deb Karsten underwent a routine CT scan on Tuesday, April 7, to evaluate the progress of her ongoing cancer treatments; results are pending.  Her next treatment will be April 29.

Ron Carlon

Ron Carlon’s epidural steroid injection was rescheduled and took place on Friday, March 13.  Please pray for increased management of pain in relation to his diagnosis of Shingles.

Sandy Snyder

Sandy Snyder has been diagnosed with Bronchiectasis—an incurable disease that causes complications in the functioning of the lungs.  Please pray for improved breathing and strength.

Bev Essenburg

Bev Essenburg underwent her first immunotherapy treatment on Thursday, March 12.

Carol Graham

Carol Graham consulted with her doctors in Ann Arbor on March 6 and 7 regarding post-surgical complications. Please pray for increased strength and healing.
