Phil Dreyer

Phil Dreyer’s health has markedly improved following a recent hospitalization for an inflamed intestine, a UTI, nausea and nutritional concerns. Please pray that he continues to gain strength and endurance.

Taylor Nederveld

Taylor Nederveld departed from Grand Rapids to Oaxaca, Mexico, on Sunday, June 30. Please pray as she spends the Summer producing high quality content to share the testimony and ministry of what God is doing there.

Sandy Riksen

Sandy Riksen returned home on Monday, June 24, following a hospitalization for congestive heart failure. She consulted with her doctor on June 27 to determine a course of treatment.

Susan Waite

Susan Waite, regular attendee, underwent hip replacement surgery on Tuesday, June 11, at Corewell Health Blodgett. She returned home on Wednesday, June 12, to continue her recovery.

Phil Dreyer

Phil Dreyer has undergone multiple infusions to treat his lung cancer; additionally, he has completed extensive radiation treatments for secondary spots found on his brain. Doctors believe the radiation treatments have negatively impacted his frontal lobe—causing confusion and some short-term memory loss. Please pray for wisdom and a course of care as he consults with his oncologist on Thursday, June 6.

Judy Huitema

Judy Huitema consulted with her care team on Tuesday, May 28, to determine the best course of care and treatment for a recurrence of lung cancer presenting as two spots on her brain. She will begin a new medication regimen in mid-June; please pray for effective results with no adverse side effects.

Cathie Hunt

Cathie Hunt has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She will soon be meeting with a specialist to determine the next steps of treatment.

Hank Buchholz

Hank Buchholz (Friend at Home—Cambridge Manor) was admitted to U of M Health West/Metro on Thursday, May 23, after suffering a fall and fracturing his sternum and cervical spine. He is currently wearing a neck brace. He returned to Cambridge Manor on Saturday, May 25, to continue his recovery.

Jan Palmbos

Jan Palmbos underwent open heart surgery on Monday, May 20, at the Meijer Heart Center.

Pam Siegersma

Pam Siegersma’s neck surgery was postponed on account of asthma and breathing complications. It has been rescheduled for June 5.

Sharon Tymes

Sharon Tymes has been diagnosed with Parkinson's. A therapy regimen to help slow its progression will begin soon.

Mary Burgess

Mary Burgess underwent a heart catheterization on Tuesday, April 16, at St. Mary's Hospital to determine the most efficient form of surgery for her upcoming heart valve replacement. Doctors have decided to postpone the replacement as they evaluate the heart valve in another six months.

Roger Elders

Roger Elders' leukemia remains in remission; however, his immune system has been low. For that reason, he is undergoing infusions to increase his blood count. Please pray for encouraging results and increased strength.

Jim Doorn

Jim Doorn has recently experienced a recurrence of focal seizures. Previously, he had been seizure-free for 19 months. Please pray for a clear explanation and treatment regarding his condition.

A sister-in-Christ (regular attendee) eagerly seeks your prayers regarding an abusive marriage and environment for her children. She is pursuing a safe atmosphere to begin pursuing healing, peace, and strength.

Carolyn Schafer

Carolyn Schafer’s latest brain MRI revealed that the cancer spots are gone; praise the Lord! She will undergo a follow up MRI in May. Additionally, she will continue with immunotherapy infusions every four weeks.

Faith Smit

Faith Smit was expected to return home on Saturday, March 9, following reconstructive hip surgery on March 6 at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. The surgery was less extensive than anticipated—and she is already full-weight bearing.  Praise the Lord!
