High School | Sundays | Youth Room | 7:00-8:30P

Turning Point Youth Ministries is open for all 9th-12th grade students. Turning Point Youth Ministry exists to reach students for Christ who reach their peers for Christ. Our programming consists of the Live Gathering, Home Groups, and Sunday School. These help students experience Jesus in powerful ways, equipping them to reach others with the good news of the Gospel.

  • Live Gathering

    • Turning Points meets from 7:00-8:30P in the Youth Room on most Sundays (Home Groups being the exceptions). During our time together, we will play games, worship, dive into Scripture through interactive teaching, and apply God’s Word to our lives through Small Groups (Same grade/gender small groups).

    Home Groups

    • Home Groups meet from 7:00-8:30P four times over the year (see the schedule for specific dates). Students will meet in their Small Groups at a leader’s or host family’s home. During this time, Small Groups will engage in different challenges, serve together, hold each other accountable for growth in God’s Word, and have fun together.

    Sunday School

    • 9th Grade students will combine with 8th Grade Students as they examine the book of Acts in Room 034.

    • 10th-12th Grade studentswill meet in the Youth Room and debate much of the year as they learn to defend the faith.

    • All grades meet from 9:50-10:40A every Sunday from September 15, 2024, through May 4, 2025.

High school Graduate recognition Services | Sunday, May 17

  • 8:30A Worship Service – Please attend this service

    • During the 8:30A Service, you will be invited to the front while information is being shared about you (based upon your survey responses). I ask that you stay on stage as each graduate is called up. Once all graduates are on the stage, our leaders and congregants will pray over you.

  • 10:30A Worship Service – Attendance optional

    • During the 10:30A service, instead of having you come on stage again, we will have a graduate video played. This will be a compilation of your survey responses.

    • Both morning services will include graduate testimonies, prayer for the graduates, and a 2026 Graduate Bulletin, with all our graduates’ pictures and details (from your survey responses).

  • Celebratory Cake in-between the Morning Worship Services (9:40-10:20A)

    • The congregation will be invited to interact with you while enjoying cake during an informal reception in the Lobby.

We need your help to do this well. There is a short survey below. Please complete it by Sunday, May 3.

On May 17, please wear your gown (caps not required) and meet in the Youth Room at 8:00A. We will walk in together at 8:30A and sit in the front. Please make every effort to be present. If you are unable to attend, please still complete the survey so we can honor your graduation together.
