Carolyn Schafer’s latest brain MRI revealed that the cancer spots are gone; praise the Lord! She will undergo a follow up MRI in May. Additionally, she will continue with immunotherapy infusions every four weeks.
Faith Smit was expected to return home on Saturday, March 9, following reconstructive hip surgery on March 6 at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. The surgery was less extensive than anticipated—and she is already full-weight bearing. Praise the Lord!
Gerald Avink continues to struggle with increased pain in his legs as well as concerns with his heart and kidney functions. Please pray for effective support as hospice provides in-home medication and palliative care.
Jan Baar (regular attendee) is recovering at home following the removal of a cancerous portion of her right lung.
Jonah Hower (15-year-old son of Tom and Amy) has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease—a condition reflective of kidneys that were smaller at birth and have not grown to function properly. Please pray for miraculous healing—as well as wisdom for the medical team as they discern the best treatment to remove excess fluid and waste from Jonah’s body.

Jackie VanHouten returned home from Ann Arbor following post-surgical care for an infection near the surgical sight. She returned to the Metro Wound Clinic on Monday, January 15, seeking care as the surgical site has opened and is again infected. Please pray for patience and increased healing.
Sandy Riksen continues to struggle with the health and function of her heart following the recent procedures and surgery. Please pray for the Lord to provide healing and strength throughout her entire body.

Joshua Hower has returned home following recent care and treatment related to fainting episodes and overall heart health. Doctors adjusted his medication as he remains under palliative care.
Skip Sartor (regular attendee) has been diagnosed with a recurrence of Lymphoma. Please pray for the oral medication to be effective in treating the disease.
Robert Kazma (regular attendee) was recently diagnosed and began treatment for prostate cancer. He is now receiving treatment at the Lack’s Cancer Center following a fainting episode at home. Please pray as doctors discern the best course of care and treatment.
